How Shall I Tell the Dog?: And Other Final Musings, by Miles Kington
Written by a real life British humorist as a way of “cashing in” on his recent terminal cancer diagnosis, this book is the emotional equivalent of riding a seesaw with a fat kid. Every time you laugh at a joke, you’re immediately thrown by the fact that the writer is dead now. Talk about a dry sense of humor. But I guess you do have to admire his dedication. (Yay American humor!)

Feeling the crushing weight of the summer television slowdown press upon my unentertained soul, I downloaded the first few episodes of this show to give it a shot. Brooke and I proceeded to watch all 26 episodes in a matter of two weeks. (We’re not bad people!) Just watch the opening scene, and if you’re not fully satisfied you can sue the producers for damages. (I’m on a roll!)

First attempt to give us a peek at Brooke's cans - sucsessful!
Puppy was completely miserable with the entire proposition. But I think he was just trying to avoid getting sand in his coif. After all, he had to do something to salvage his image with the ladies after that unfortunate water bowl incident at the restaurant.
